Free inertial rotation of a solid with three different axes of inertia when the angular momentum is close to the intermediate (unstable) axis of inertia. There are no external forces acting on the solid (e.g., it might be rotating in the absence of gravity, or freely falling).

Note (follow the colored markers!) how the solid completely reverses its orientation.
