Reflecting on a residency week with Poiesis Quartet, our 2025–26 Ernst Stiefel String Quartet-in-Residence.
As part of their year-long residency, Poiesis Quartet spent the week in local schools and afterschool programs for Student Strings, our classroom-based program of concerts and conversations. Established in 1999, the Ernst Stiefel residency provides emerging ensembles with dedicated time to mentor the next generation of musicians.
This creative exchange between the classroom and the concert hall enriches both the local students and the quartet's own artistry. Supporting the careers of promising ensembles while bringing music education to our community is made possible by the generosity of our donors.
About Caramoor Center for Music and the Arts:
