A poem for Milky Way from a Deaf poet who love to write and sign, and sing.

Part one:

The Sun spits Mercury, Venus, Earth and Moon, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto.

After recovering from the fire of the Sun, Mercury-so small and new.
Venus, the way it looks.
Earth with the Moon circling, blue green white, all whirl and spiral together.
Mars, all red and water is around.
Jupiter with its eye we all await its rarest wink.
Saturn, birthed with a ring for a skirt and rocks for hi.
Uranus, light blue and chilling.
Neptune, deep blue and cold.
Pluto, being called a dwarf yielding a heart.

Part two:

Mercury, Venus, Earth and the Moon, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto. All dance around the Sun in gentle spins. Beyond planets is the night's blanket with stars glowing like this, shiiiiiiiiiiine. There goes a shooting star, a comet, an asteroid, and a meteor. One of each for many single shots, and all of them together for many showers. Whoosh. Woah. Roar. And, Wish!

A star then crashes into Earth. Many ran so to gaze at it closely until the rays of the starlight shine and dim so to remember it is like reaching and embracing, like how we sign precious in American Sign Language- chin to the heart.

Milky Way then found one more way to land somewhere inside our hearts.

Thank you for subscribing. And, thank you for singing.
