It might seem like a simple thing, but proper mic technique can be a critical factor in determining how much your listeners enjoy your show.
Regardless of which microphone you're using, let's cover a few simple steps you can practice to help your show sound its best (it's also a good idea to share these techniques with guests and cohosts when recording with others).
Since there are so many variables with microphones, voices, and recording environments, it's always a good idea to spend some time experimenting with your specific microphone to see what sounds best in your situation.
