Once you've got your episode edited, it's time to make sure that everything is exported correctly, creating a high quality audio file that's ready to be uploaded to your podcast hosting platform of choice.

Most editing software will have a "Share" or "Export" option. MP3 or WAV files are the best choice (I prefer WAV is possible since the quality is a bit better), and you might even have the option to select a sample rate.

Generally speaking, 48000Hz is for video and 44100Hz is for audio-only.

ACTION ITEMS-
•Export your file and review it. Does everything sound good? Did the full episode export, with no parts being cut off?

•Save a copy of your exported episode to your backup hard drive.
