* April 13 at Fiberside Chats: Anna Johanna. “Enjoying the Process - Mindful Knitting and Colorwork”. In this fast-paced world, even knitting can sometimes become all about being quick and productive. But stranded knitting takes a bit of concentration and forces you to slow down - while also providing you with a lovely dopamine rush as you get to admire the colorwork patterns taking shape. * April 27 at Fiberside Chats: Bristol Ivy. “Meaning in Every Stitch: Adding Secret Messages to Your Knitting!” We add love, thoughtfulness, and sometimes a few swear words into every project. But have you ever thought about adding a secret message? In this chat, Bristol will present several different ways to add hidden meanings to your work: important words, special dates, song lyrics and more. 🩷 April 29 is the first online class in our new summer series class for Rowan, called “How to Knit a Fair Isle Vest”. We’ll be using a recently published vest pattern, called “Bramley” by Lisa Richardson, to teach participants how to knit a garment and use stranded colourwork techniques.
