Dr. Andy Poh is a seasoned Healthcare Strategist and Leadership and Transformation Advisor with an international career of senior-level positions across industry and government. He has worked in different countries, including Australia, Singapore, China and the Middle East, namely the United Arab Emirates. His roles include advising leadership on strategy, policy, system-level transformation and the future of healthcare systems. He has been longstanding Advisor in the Prime Minister's Office of the United Arab Emirates. He has worked in the Dubai Health Authority of the Government of Dubai in roles of strategy, transformation and business innovation. Earlier, he held management roles as General Manager and Vice President of a listed health care group, with experience in market expansion via greenfield and brownfield strategies. He began his career initially as a practicing doctor. Among his appointments, he is Honorary Professor at the University of Birmingham in the United Kingdom, Senior Fellow at the Health and Global Policy Institute in Japan and Advisor in the Board of Advisors of Health System Intelligence, which specializes in cutting-edge Artificial Intelligence capabilities and predictive healthcare data analytics. He has attained qualifications in Medicine, Law, Public Administration, Business Administration and Education, namely: Master of Laws (Distinction), Master of Business Administration (Distinction), MSc in Public Administration and Development (Distinction), Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery and Graduate Qualifications in Occupational Medicine, Family Medicine, Family Practice Dermatology and Higher Education.
