Carl Wieman won the Nobel Prize for Physics in 2001 for his discovery of Bose Einstein Condensate (BEC)
He then founded pHET, the Physics Education Technology Animations, the well known interactives with its purpose for students to engage more effectively in physics concepts. He is internationally known for his work in physics education research
In this podcast , we discuss his work on BEC, his work on pHET and also find out how he got into science in the first place. And he has some salient advice to teachers and students in science.
