If I'm gonna survive on the Planet Of Death, win the championship and get to that escape rocket, I'm gonna need some practice! So I'm beginning a playthrough/test drive of every track on POD before I attempt the big one. I'll also be testing all the cars and first up, it's Gamma, the big brown brick from the box art.
Beltane is a wide dual carrigeway of a course with loops either end. Other racers end up driving towards you but the main straight is so side it's never usually an issue, the biggest issue was Gamma doesn't seem to have the top speed of my opponents, so there's a lot of bumping as I try to hold the lead.

More Japan only racers! This time the well known NOMAD Diablo from GT3 A-Spec Japan. Originally included in the Japanese release under license from JLOC (Japanese Lamborghini Owners Club) not Lamborghini itself which was a bit of a legal loophole, it was stripped from the US and PAL releases after uncertainty, being initially debadged during localisation before being hidden entirely in US, and completly removed in PAL altogether.

Of course me being me, regional restrictions be damned! I fancied a go in it myself so over the past week whilst getting over a cough and cold Ive been zooming away on the Japanese release of GT3 to get my paws on it. And its oddly the most competent JGTC racer in the field! Despite always seeming to come at the back of the pack when under CPU control, ah well...
