This video is an unboxing and first impressions walkthrough of The Pocket of Peers Tarot Tiles set by Jamie Sawyer! The Kickstarter campaign of the Pocket of Peers Tarot Deck recently funded in April, so this is a sort of preview of the images of that deck and shows Jamie’s beautiful handiwork in her tarot tiles!
I’m so glad to see mature people depicted in the deck/tiles. At 54, I don’t see myself in very many decks. Mature men are often depicted, but women over a certain age are not. If we are lucky, there might be a couple of cards in a deck showing a mature women. Our society does not like to be co fro Ted with its mortality, so we only get a half view of what constitutes a full life.
I apologize in advance for some wonky camera work, as the tiles are small and shiny and I had a hard time getting in and focusing my phone at times. Still, I hope you get a good idea of what this set is like!
