Hello! In today's video I’m sharing part 2 of my easy stamped pocket letter tutorial process video. I’ve used an old stamp set from Creative Stamping magazine 73, unfortunately it’s sold out, but I’m sure you can find it on eBay. In this tutorial I also share some easy stamping techniques and tips that I hope are helpful for beginners and anyone trying to build their stamping confidence. Thanks so much for watching!

---WHAT ARE POCKET LETTERS OR POCKETMAIL?
I created Pocket Letters® as a new way to send letters to your new or existing penpals. Basically, they are creative penpal letters. You fill all the pockets of a 9 Pocket Trading Card Protector and send the whole page to someone who wants to swap with you. This can be a one-time exchange or you can keep exchanging pocketmail indefinitely. You fill the pockets with anything you like (stickers, tea bags, a note, washi tape samples, pictures, etc.) A short note or letter is included and tucked into one of the pockets. Then the trading card insert is folded up and sent in a standard 10 size envelope. It's the perfect way to send and collect letters from other Pocket Letter Pals (ie people who are sending mail in this format) around the world and a convenient way to store them. They fit perfectly in a binder!
---WHERE DO I FIND SWAP PALS AKA POCKET LETTER PALS?
I suggest starting with family or friends. Show them how to make a fancy, creative letter, and do a little swap! You can also join the official Pocket Letter Pals Facebook group (link below). Or there are plenty of snail mail groups to join too. If you're on Instagram, create a post and tag it with #pocketletterpalswanted. Search the tag and send a comment or DM to anyone else who may be looking for a penpal. Also there are lots of penpal websites you can join. Just google:)
If you want to get really serious then find a swap pal on my network. Try it for free for 7 days! Once you've signed up you can create a profile, join groups, and connect with others who want to swap pocket mail. Regardless of where you find pals, once you find someone to swap with, then work out the details about who will write first, deadlines, general info, preferences, etc. After you've arranged your swaps, then purchase your supplies and start filling your pockets with goodness!
