NX71 | Pocket Laser Power Meter Review and testing my entire laser collection @nx7173 | Uploaded May 2024 | Updated October 2024, 12 hours ago.
Finally after long time, I get my first power meter to measure and check my lasers status often.
Bought on Laser Pointer Store: laserpointerstore.com/products/pocket-laser-power-meter and also bought the Sanwu 3X beam expander, the products arrived wonderfully in 2 weeks without any problems, a very good purchase and also for price, $89 compared to other sites +$100

Personal Opinion:
Pocket LPM works amazing, but obviously it's not perfect, compared to high prices ones, readings of pocket have an erroneous result of 3% to 8% over power emitted from laser but just get a calculator and done, lasers have different size, I recommend getting a support for light to reach sensor without having in hand the laser because our pulse will not give us accurate and stable readings, sensor reacts easily.
Battery has good duration, and when it charges there is no heat or anything rare.
But what surprised me was the size, I knew it was small but when I saw it in person not so much, size almost same than a 18650.

Test rules:
I will make 3 tests and if necessary another one in case there is unstable power.
Test will last ~30 seconds and no more than 60 to respect work cycle.
All lasers must have their normal-neutral focus and I will try to measure outside 3cm and no more than 10cm away of the sensor.
All measures will be normal with converging lens. Without it and expose only the diode you will get higher readings and that is diode measurement not laser dot that we all see.
