Edit Fighter Mode allows you to name a character you choose to send away on a "quest" to improve their fighting skills, pretty much like the World Mode of Street Fighter Alpha 3. However you cannot control said characters you edit here, relying mostly on the items that you equip them with before matches begin and fighting automatically till they are defeated.
