During the impeachment trial of Vice President Sara Duterte on Wednesday, September 2, 2026, former DepEd spokesperson and chief of staff Michael Poa says he did not see fictitious or suspicious names in the DepEd documents he reviewed. Asked if he would have questioned such names, Poa says he would first verify whether aliases were permitted in confidential operations.
