I feel like we as a fandom don’t talk enough about how Phoenix and Athena canonically first met during the 7 year gap and that he was the one who encouraged her to become a lawyer & not give up on saving Simon. kinda a vent but not really i got over it last year lol
okay so bASICALLY for context-
When I was in Kindergarten and Primary School I got bullied a lot for being gross and developed this really unhealthy mindset that I dont feel like explaining for obvious reasons, and when I got promoted to Secondary School two years ago I wasnt used to people not hating me to the point where I felt like I couldnt function as a human being and had trust issues so uh yeah;
The part where it said “Everyone ignores me” is supposed to represent how scared I felt at the time because people weren’t making fun of me (well they were at first, they tried stalking me until I had to hide in the school bathroom but they stopped after a few months or so) and I was really scared of making friends because I thought they would betray me like my old schoolmates did.
“Everything’s stolen from me” is supposed to represent how I felt like the cruel world I had adapted to for so many years was suddenly gone, “stolen”. It was so weird and felt so wrong.
“I don’t belong anywhere” is self explanatory.
But I got over it and made some pretty cool friends so-

Madison Perultans life has been... lonely. Between the mysterious disappearance of her childhood friend, her parents being emotionally negligent, her dreams of studying the stars being crushed by the fact that she just isnt smart enough, and then getting stuck working a soul-sucking job in an industry she knows is corrupt... shes tired, and believes life has nothing left to offer her but more disappointment.
But when a mishap involving a wish-granting comet & accidental divine intervention gives her the chance to quite literally relive her childhood by time-travelling into her younger selfs body, Maddie jumps at the opportunity. Even if its only temporary, surely being a kid again, before everything in her life went wrong, will be a walk in the park... right?
