In case the title isn't clear enough, this is a PMV trailer of "The Book of Life". Today is the Day of the Death, which is why I'm uploading this today. Seemed fair.
You'll know the reason of this video if you've watched my announcement video (youtube.com/watch?v=Y2DKbxuyp1c). Even though I didn't want an entire Rarijack set, I did want to make something for the movie, so I did the trailer.
I really like this film. Even though it does have some Mexican stereotypes, it also shows the culture and traditions, it's funny, heart-warming, the story is entertaining, and very romantic. Even though I don't like Rarijack, I must admit they do have good scenes together for this sort of things (even though I only had to use one for this).
I think most of the cast is pretty obvious, and I chose the minor characters almost entirely based on their scenes for this specific trailer. I would've LOVED to use Sombra as Xibalba ('cause Sombrelestia) but he doesn't speak enough, and Discord fits better personality-wise. Also, thought I used Flutterbat for the snake, 'cause why not? But I WOULD use normal Fluttershy (or maybe Cadance) as Carmen, though she wasn't in this trailer.
Also, couldn't really make them look like skulls, so... just get on with it. They're death.

Pinkie Pie as Pancho (one of the mariachis)
