But it was worth it!
Now you know why it took me so long. Many short scenes, switching really fast, and over five minutes! This is officially my longest PMV to the date. Yay.
I just love this series! (I'm in love with Grant Gustin!) Ever since I watched the first episode I wanted to make an MLP crossover of it. Well, I could've just made the 32 second intro, but I wanted to show all the main characters and at least the first villian, so I decided to do this trailer, because it sums up the first episode perfectly.
The casting choice for Barry was obvious. Caitlin, Cisco and Iris were quite easy, too. I chose Luna for Harrison Wells because I thought her Nightmare Moon counterpart would work well for The Reverse Flash. Besides they're both misterious.
And Celestia is Barry's mom just for the fact that she was attacked by Nightmare Moon.
I debated between Shining Armor and Big Macintosh for the role of Joe. I ended up choosing Shining because he's a royal guard, and that's like a police officer. And I needed him to attack the villian, and Big Mac doesn't use magic attacks. Besides, I really don't see Big Mac as Rarity's father. Just no.
Spitfire as Oliver/Arrow... Well, I really think Sunset Shimmer would fit the role better, because of the things she's been through (they're not as harsh as the things Oliver's been through, but still...) and how she regrets her past actions. But it would be too weird if I put a human in here, so the runner-up was Spitfire.
And Discord as Clyde Mardon because of the weather control thing. Some may say that Tirek would've been better, but I believe Tirek is more like Clyde's brother: MARK Mardon/The Weather Wizard. Oh yeah.
And just a little something: ignore Celestia at 04:35, I was tired and hurrying to finish this video, I completely forgot that Celestia was already Nora Allen.
