My part for a collab hosted by the awesome Animerge!
Considering the theme of this collab, I got inspired to feature parts of Spike's story and growth over the show, as I think it's one of the deepests. From self-esteem issues and self-questioning to a spiritual journey and to becoming virtually a Dragon Lord, Spike has gone through quite the initiatory trip, and has finally heard his Calling.

I just finished the game after 100 hours and Im an emotional wreck. The new title screen was utterly emotional after I returned to it after the ending credits, and I never had this much trouble exiting a game before. I was stuck there on the title screen on the verge of tears for maybe an hour before I finally managed to exit the game. With that amazing title screen music that became very emotional, too. Post-GameFinished hits hard and I know I have to remember the video The World Is Saved and think about my next adventure/J-RPG, but I still dont want to go back to reality, and having to say goodbye to all these beloved characters is breaking my heart.
Nihon Falcom is my second favorite studio and I thought Id write a love letter to express my love and gratitude to them, and also potentially to connect with other fans who may have felt similar things.
