A wild HappyDragonite appeared…and this time it’s Valentine’s Day—and it turns out the real axe-murderer was love all along. Remember how last year on Valentine’s I uploaded a cutesy arrangement of Wigglytuff’s Guild? Well now we’re getting dark. Because what says Valentine’s Day more than Dusk Forest, right? Right. So fun story: this has been in my WIP folder for more than a year, and when I rediscovered it most everything was done. I polished it up a bit, and added a heck of a lot more bulk to it, and I think if this is any evidence of a diamond in the rough, I should probably go over my WIP folder more often! Dusk Forest is such a neat dungeon to explore, and I love the overall atmosphere the song adds to it. I hope you like the piece, and I hope you have a great day regardless of what it means to you personally! I LOVE YOU ALL.

Q: You used my art in one of your videos, can I have credit?
A: For anything pre Autumn 2014 send me an email at HappyZoroark [at] gmail.com with the video title in the subject line, or art, and I will add a link for you in said video as soon as I can. As of September 2014 there will always be a link so you should have no reason to worry about credit unless it’s a bum link, or you (the artist in particular) would like a different link to be used, in which case you can email me. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Q: What do you use to produce your music?
A: High quality samples a la Kontakt 5, my wits, and Logic Pro 9. For video editing I use iMovie 9 (because the new one is impossible to figure out because I’m old and I don’t know how new fangled things work), and for image editing I use Pixelmator, which is a fantastic image editor for Mac, and doesn’t cost a bajillion dollars like Photoshop.
Q: Can I use your music in a video / monetized video?
A: Absolutely. You don’t even need to ask my permission, just add a link to my channel in the description of your video and it’s all good. No need to make it all complicated. Go right ahead. If you want some attention too, feel free to mention me on Twitter @HappyDragonite, and I’ll check your video out!
Q: How can I help support your channel ie. donations?
A: I don’t accept donations at this time, but watching my videos (liking etc.) helps. If you have adblock on, if you turned it off to watch the videos of the people you watch on YouTube (or whitelist YouTube!) that would be super cool, because that’s sort-of completely how I can afford to keep uploading videos instead of working retail, or running an international Rare Candy cartel. YouTube Red is also now a thing, so if you don’t like ads and want to support your favourite creators that is available!
