Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a bilateral meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin on the sidelines of the SCO Summit in Bishkek, Kyrgyz Republic. The leaders discussed the growing India-Russia strategic partnership, economic and trade cooperation, people-to-people ties and coordination in multilateral forums. PM Modi also reiterated India’s support for all efforts toward peace and a peaceful resolution to the Ukraine conflict, stressing that every step towards peace brings hope to humanity. The upcoming BRICS Summit in New Delhi was also discussed.
