Prime Minister Narendra Modi, in the 137th episode of Mann Ki Baat, urged citizens and especially the youth to actively participate in the ‘Nasha Mukt Yuva for Viksit Bharat’ campaign and contribute towards building a drug-free India.
The Prime Minister called on young musicians, students, theatre groups and content creators to create powerful songs, slogans, short plays and social media content highlighting the dangers of drugs and the path towards a drug-free life.
He also highlighted the patriotic spirit of August, including Har Ghar Tiranga, Suryapath Tiranga Yatra, Independence Day and National Space Day. PM Modi noted the participation of millions of citizens in these initiatives and said such efforts strengthen national unity.
The Prime Minister further shared inspiring stories of women beneficiaries of the PM SVANidhi scheme, noting that women account for around 46% of its beneficiaries, with nearly 35 lakh women using the scheme to expand their small businesses.
