Hey everyone, this video is much different that my usual content, but I felt since I have somewhat of a larger platform and an audience who likely has never heard of this, it was important to spread the word because it can affect all of us. This is a VERY uncomfortable topic but one that needs to be discussed. TW: non-consensual physical touch/ass*ult.
I will list some of the resources down below that I saw (petitions to sign) and also some of the articles that I read in the video. There is another from the NY Times that is VERY disturbing and I wish I had seen before filming my video so I could share it with you all. This needs to change, at at the very least, sharing this with you all brings acknowledgment to it and we can advocate for ourselves if we need to undergo a medical procedure under anesthesia.
