So Anthony Fantano. Loved by some, hated by many. My thoughts on him personally, he’s cool, he’s alright, he’s just outta touch with modern day rap music.
I’d be lying if I said this was a recent realization, hes been outta touch since he gave Xxxtentacion a 2. And in this video I do have a lil bit to say about his more recent reviews. It’s 2023 and this man wants rappers to make songs in MLA Format.
His recent ratings, on these newer age rappers and rap albums…. are simply being critiqed from somebody who doesnt understand the current state of rap.
Now what do i mean by that…..
Anthony is 37, which is fine but he was in high school during a completely different time of hip hop and music in general.
So No while he isn’t being bias, he does act oblivious to to evolution.
Anytime he hears something that doesn’t sound good to him. he bashes the artist, meanwhile he’s rating a project, with a whole different rubric than the artist isfollowing.
