Kliewer's debut novel, We Used to Live Here, began as a story on Reddit before becoming a breakout horror phenomenon, with film rights acquired by Netflix ahead of publication. Earlier this year, he released The Caretaker, which is already in development as a feature film. Together, the projects have established Kliewer as one of horror's fastest-rising voices.
Marking Kliewer's first original audiobook project, Please Remain Seated, arrives just ahead of spooky season and is poised to be one of the year's major horror audio releases. The collection takes listeners from an eerily empty commercial flight to a deserted back road and the darkest depths of the ocean, delivering three cinematic stories created specifically for audio.
