The company shared on their website that their goal was to develop and promote a high-quality Kazakh product and brand globally, while keeping in line with the country’s values and traditions. They commented that they did consider other partners, but decided that Dimash was the right person for this special collaboration, not only because he is one of the most famous Kazakh musical artists of this generation, but also because of Dimash’s personal goal and efforts to introduce the culture and music of Kazakhstan to people all around the world.
Tea is a national beverage of Kazakhstan and black tea, specifically, is the most popular tea variety as well as the most consumed beverage in Kazakhstan. Dimash Tea is a black granulated tea made in Kazakhstan from premium teas grown in Kenya, Africa. The company shared plans to launch other varieties of tea in the future, possibly of the “green” and “fruit” varieties.
The official launch and presentation of Dimash Tea was held at the Ritz Carlton in Almaty, Kazakhstan on August 23, 2018. Dimash’s parents, Kanat and Svetlana Aitbaev, attended the event with their son, along with many other Kazakh music artists, members of the media and other guests. Some guests were lucky to leave the launch conference with a box of Dimash Tea, personally autographed by Dimash himself.
