I decided to skip the initial town and jump right into the first dungeon, the Bleak Falls Barrows. It wasnt terribly hard, even at level 1. It gave great loot (including an awesome completion item that I could use well) and 3 or so levels. Definitely worth the time and effort from the get go.

I have been able to get RAGE to play semi-well. Ive more or less doubled my recording FPS from 10-15 to 20-25. Ive also gotten the texture pop-ins down to a minimum. So, hopefully putting up 2-5 videos a night, depending on what I can get done. The FPS, lag, and texture popping will only get better as they release more fixes for the PC version. The main issue I am having now is the mouse. Its incredibly slow, choppy, inaccurate, or too fast. So, the menu navigating is a tad terrible, and with the mouse in combination with the graphics, the headshots are hard to pull off, but Ill get through it. I hope everyone enjoys the game in 1080p.
