PlayStation just triggered another massive backlash after Sony reminded users that digital games are “licensed to you, not sold.” The timing couldn't be worse as the #PSBlackout protest is already underway over Sony's move away from physical PlayStation games.
Gamers are now digging through Sony's PlayStation Terms of Service and asking serious questions about digital game ownership, account access, DRM, game preservation, and what an all-digital PlayStation future actually means for consumers.
