We're still on track to lose physical PlayStation discs by January 2028, Sony is still full steam ahead. And one really great thing we're on the verge of losing is beautiful box art. Across PS1, PS2, PS3, PS4, PS5, and even PSP / PS Vita, there's so much good art. Today we're going to talk about some of my favorite box art on these platforms, the methodology of US art vs. Japan, and wax nostalgic about the buying experience. Even if we're still getting games at retail, I think this is a meaningful art that they're taking away. Paper is good. Paper is life. Art on paper, representing game? Oh come on now. I'm about to lose it over it.
