Sometimes the best way to grow as an artist is simply to play.
I’m working in my art journal and filling the pages with faces...painting, layering, experimenting, and letting each one evolve in its own way. It’s less about perfection and more about exploration...a place where you loosen up, try things you might not attempt on a finished piece, and discover new ideas along the way.
As a professional artist, I love sharing the kinds of exercises I do in the studio...both with my in-person classes and here on YouTube...because practice and curiosity are where the magic really happens.
