I thought now when i still had my Yamaha MU1000 connected to my ST so would i try to play some SMF files using it, but it was not easy to find any good SMF players for the ST... "Sweet Sixteen Lite" is one of the better ones though but not all SMF files sound ok when played in it.
In this video so do i play a couple of XG MIDI songs, they are made for lower end MU-models and thus this video is not to show the potential of the MU1000.
For those pre-MU100 songs so did i setup the MU1000 in "MU basic" mode wich means it uses lower quality patches to match those from the lower end MU-models better.
These four songs do i play in the video recording:
1 - "Casper in Trance" by Michael Koch (1998) -MU Basic mode-
2 - "XG Trance" by Silver Raudsepp AKA. ModeXG (2000)
3 - "In the Silicon Forest" by Daniel Zarzycki (1999) -MU Basic mode-
4 - "Guitar!" by Richard Dudeney AKA. The Dude (1998)
*****
Recorded from my Atari ST (1 mb) using Micomsoft RGB capturecard SC-500N1 and Xsync-1, software used is AmarecTV and Virtualdub.

![Essential Classics - [Amiga 500] Demo by Nova (1993)
Essential Classics was made by Nova and released in 1993 for Amiga.
This is a musicdemo with 7 songs, i like them except for Synthetic Fields wich was a bit boring :-)

![James Pond: Underwater Agent - [Amiga 500] Gameplay of level 1, 2 and 4 (1990)

I have been having this Amiga 500 in my possession over 10 years but never tried to start to start it, so i though it was about time to do that and the first game i tried was James Pond.
I only get to mission 4... just like i always do, it is a difficult game and i dont like the invisible enemies that appear in mission 4 :-/
I wonder why the music is playing in mono at the start of mission 1 and play no sound effects until the bonus level is entered?
I play the budget release from GBH in this video.
