Proof that old computers can (barely) run Crysis. (Show more)
This is a Pentium 3 system from 1999. I upgraded the RAM and graphics card, and now it can run Crysis!
All settings on Low and 800x600 resolution.
Minimum FPS: 1
Average FPS: 3 - 6
Maximum FPS: 14
Minimum system requirements for Crysis:
CPU: Pentium 4 @ 2.8GHz
RAM: 1GB
Graphics card: GeForce 6800 or Radeon 9800 Pro (256MB)
Sound card: DirectX 9.0c compatible
This computer:
CPU: Pentium 3 @ 560MHz
RAM: 384MB
Graphics card: Nvidia GeForce 6200 (256MB)
Sound card: Sound Blaster 16 (Non-PnP ISA)
So according to this, I am running Crysis mostly below half of the minimum requirements. I'm surprised it can run at all!
