Trying out a different screen capture software called PlayClaw(trial version).
Processor Cores used: 2
Compression: Low
Frame Size: Half
FPS: 30
Transferred to Sony Vegas Pro 9 to convert to wmv like I normally do

Pros: Can record game video without causing the fps to drop, meaning you don't necessarily need to get a different HDD to record video. It also makes use of the fact that your processor can have multiple cores and increases performance. Also the fps of the game as I was playing didn't go down just because I had it set to 30. I was playing it normaly. Something Fraps can't do.

Cons: The output format is AVI yet when I tried to upload this file to YouTube directly (trying to get better video quality) YouTube said it didn't recognize the video codec used to compress the video. There's no option to change the codec in the program so you'll need software to convert the AVI to something else so YouTube can upload it.
