PLAY THE GAME is the latest single from The Noisy Line — the new project from guitarist and producer Daniel Beja, recently signed to Freshly Squeezed. After more than two decades immersed in Gypsy jazz and Romanian folk traditions, Daniel has turned his attention back to the electronic sounds that first inspired him in the 1990s, bringing those worlds together in a bold new way.
Built on punchy MPC-driven beats and steeped in Balkan rhythm, swing energy and hip hop attitude, Play The Game captures the tension and theatre of the poker table — high stakes, cool heads and the occasional bluff. For this short, we’ve paired the track with some of cinema’s most iconic poker scenes… but how many can you recognise?
