Starting with version 1.9.5, PLAY expands its capabilities by adding support for Canon and Nikon DSLR and mirrorless cameras, making it even more versatile for astrophotographers. This feature allows users to control image acquisition directly from PLAY, using the same intuitive interface already trusted for dedicated astronomy cameras. By integrating Canon and Nikon camera control, PLAY enables a wider community of astrophotographers to benefit from its advanced automation features — such as l’AutoFocus, Auto Alignment, Sequencer and AutoStacking — bringing greater precision, efficiency, and simplicity to every astrophotography project, even when using non-dedicated cameras.
