Building Our Weird Little Platypus!
Welcome back to Live for 45 at Sam’s Yarn Basket! 🧶☕
It’s Week 3 of our Platypus adventure, and yes… we’re progressing slowly — but that’s exactly the plan! 😂
We’re determined to do all of the work on camera, stitch by stitch, so that nobody misses anything along the way. There’s no rushing ahead, no secret finished pieces hiding off-camera — we’re figuring this strange little fellow out together!
This week we’ll continue working on our platypus while chatting, laughing, enjoying each other’s company and, of course, having plenty of yarn talk. 🧶☕❤️
We’re also working out exactly how we want to shape our weird little friend — because a platypus is definitely not your everyday amigurumi! There are some interesting shapes and construction decisions to make, and we’re figuring them out as we go.
So grab your project, your favourite drink and come spend 45 minutes of yarny friendship with us!
