The filmmaker shoots a 360-degree view of Platinum, Alaska, circa the 1960s. Platinum is located on Goodnews Bay in southwest Alaska near the mouth of the Smalls River and southwest of the Kilbuck Mountains. The community was named in the 1930s due to the platinum ore found in the area (Color/Silent/Super-8mm film).
