This video was produced when the laboratory operated as the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL). The laboratory is now the National Laboratory of the Rockies (NLR). The Scenario Planner allows users to select and model three energy system metrics (energy consumption, CO2 emissions, and system costs) at a county or state level. Each scenario models (through 2050) the impact of various clean energy strategies (such as energy efficiency, grid decarbonization, as well as vehicle and building electrification) on these metrics. Watch this recording to learn more about how plan your energy future using the Scenario Planner.
