Planets and Survival Gameplay are coming to Space Engineers 2! Yep, the Alpha of the second Space Engineers game is finally getting moving, a year after launch. This Major Game Update is expected to release on December 1st.

Titled “Vertical Slice 2”, this brings a fully traversable star system with planets and asteroid fields to Space Engineers 2 Alpha. It will also lay the foundations of survival, colonisation gameplay, the interactive map, backpack building, projection building and the core production systems.
