But in the middle of the chaos, I stumbled into an experience that completely redefined the trip — a chance to spend real time with one of the most legendary, and most misunderstood, Disney artists of all time.
For years, fans around the world have admired Don Rosa, the creator of The Life and Times of Scrooge McDuck — an epic comic series that took Disney’s duck universe to a whole new level. But what most people don’t realize is the struggle, the passion, and the unique path that made him one of the most respected, yet underappreciated creators in Disney history.
I didn’t just meet him — I got invited to sit in his booth, hang out, and talk comics, life, and everything in between. What unfolded was a genuine, unforgettable moment with a legend — and a story you won’t want to miss.
