Ancient mystery solved!!🚨🏺
Now that’s something you don’t get to report on every day! A new archaeological discovery in the mysterious Plain of Jars in Laos might have given us concrete proof that these megalithic stone jars were used for burial practices.
Archaeologists uncovered a large stone jar with the remains of 37 individuals inside. They were placed there over a span of 270 years, and other funerary goods like ceramic sherds, glass beads, and an iron knife were also found inside.
This one find blows the whole case of the Plain of Jars wide open! More excavation and further study of the finds is needed, but how exciting is this! 🏛️🔥
