We're starting removing the bedrock under the redstone factory. For that we need to place a whole floor of pistons (facing down). Let's design a machine that will do that for us.
Errata:
- I said I had two double chests of pistons, it's actually 4. No idea why the word two was in my head:
- The bit where I said there were no bedrock breakers with piston recovery was recorded a couple of days before Desu Desu published one, I'm now aware that it exists, but that doesn't really change anything.

In this let's play series in survival Minecraft 1.18, I'm trying to learn how to build things other than square shapes, barebones farms and redstone and jagged holes in the ground.
I was very late to Minecraft having only picked it up in late 2019. I'm trying to catch up to the amazing progress the community has made. Watch me struggle and yell at me for making every build square and boring so that we can improve.
Music in this episode:
C418 - "Beginning 2", "Alpha", "Haunt Muskie", c418.org
Client mods I use:
- Carpet (for debugging farms) - github.com/gnembon/fabric-carpet
- Minihud (for not getting lost and debugging farms) - curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/minihud
- Litematica (for not messing up builds) - curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/litematica
- Tweakeroo - curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/tweakeroo
- Iris shaders - modrinth.com/mod/iris
