Hello, and welcome back to another train trip report on my channel. For this week's video I am at Warszawa Centralna (in Poland's capital, Warsaw), and will be travelling to Iława Główna with PKP InterCity on one of their modern PKP ED160 'Stadler FLIRT' units, in their First Class.
This journey starts at the pleasant Warszawa Centralna station, which is the central station/main station in Poland's capital, and a key hub for rail connections around the continent. After, the train heads east to Warszawa Wschodnia, before passing close to Warsaw Modlin Airport, then continuing north to Iława.
These units are helping to replace some of the more battered hauled stock on PKP InterCity services, with reclining seats in both classes, and a small restaurant, these 160km/h (100mph) sets are decently equipped for medium distance travel in Poland. Compared to many other Stadler FLIRT trains, there are exceptionally well kitted out, and possibly the best Stadler FLIRT trains in service in my opinion!
