This kind of edit is pretty unusual on my channel because I so rarely still edit pokemon nowadays (especially when it's not rocketshipping) and especially not a real amv but here we are!! The theme was nostalgia so I tried to emulate that old angsty fanart style and used some old ships that I haven't used in forever - if at all - and while I don't know how much I succeeded, I still had a lot of fun editing it. Nothing screams nostalgia quite like old Ellie Goulding songs! Honestly I lowkey wanted to edit this song for ages so I just had to take the chance. Also not having to worry about backgrounds for once was so refreshing shfsdjkghskjgd
(I was this close to putting rocketshipping in the beginning but I thought I'd shake it up a little for once. Thank you PJ for making me dig out the old fossils and rebuild some of my fanart folders haha)
Honestly I would say more sweet words to everyone in the studio but I'm exhausted rn, I hope you all know that I love you and talking with everyone is always a blast. I know others said it before but this is definitely also one of the chats I'm most active in and I'm glad I get to share it with so many lovely people! May we endure many more mep struggles together :'D

Today I present to you the worlds most normal character birthday edit :) I dont know what possessed me, but I will literally never top this. A full minute of fx editing? lmaoooo never again !! Also this monster is 527 layers in total, thank god I decided to edit in five separate project files or my computer would have blown up.
Honestly this edit wasnt even supposed to happen, there were so many other things I had to get done and Im literally writing this on the 10th because Im not even home on his birthday or the days leading up to it so I had to finish it early as well... But instead of doing the sensible thing and not cutting a one minute audio, I spent seven nights in a row working on this beast instead. Even so, I still had a lot of fun despite it all? I really do love editing japanese songs, using kanji as background fillers is an actual lifesaver for an editing style like mine I feel. This whole project is really balancing on that fine line between simple and boring, but here is to praying that the little things I did with the texture can fool everyone ♥ If I had to come up with just one more background for this edit, I genuinely would have gone insane ngl
I could use this opportunity to lovemail my pretty princess (read: man the same age as my actual dad), but Ive never been any good at that so why not let the angst... I mean the edit speak for itself. God I love this song so much, its SO catchy. I listen to it almost every day atp

Like its an OT3 edit because the song is literally called Three, but the polyamory pride flag has a pi sign in it, so Ace got the brilliant idea to add Kiibo because pi= 3.14 and thats almost 3.5 soooo like he is a real good boy in our in our hearts, but he isnt really human after all so only a half? Idk it made sense to me and I liked the idea so here we are with sneaky OT4. xD
