The Pizza King (PK's) bar-pizza place located in Carbondale IL had a so-called explosion in 1973. It turned out to be a tear gas canister and mace were tossed in to the establishment. This video contains all of the police radio traffic by the Carbondale Police Dept. Unit 8810 was Chief Joe Dakin and unit 8820 was Capt. Hogan. This is an audio only video. Also heard are passing Illinois Central railroad freight trains.
