Kim is also an excellent example of tight lacing gone "wrong", which has excellent parallels to Victorian writings about corsets and tight lacing. Finally, because I keep seeing this silly critique going around: the sweater + formal gown combo was not unique to Kim, but was actually on the Maison Margiela runway.
