In the frost bitten run-up to Christmas 2018, Pixies set about recording a new album at Dreamland Studios, near Woodstock, NY. In an unprecedented move, they recorded every waking moment in the studio and provided all areas access to local music biographer Tony Fletcher to create a ground breaking document: It’s a Pixies Podcast.
It’s time for overdubs so Joey is really busy sprinkling arsenic icicles, the best Pixies cover band ever, the Joey Santiago technique for buying a guitar, the beauty of a Gilligan, the original intension for fuzz pedals - oh, and ....the notebook.
