This level is Backbeat Revenge by Darwin!, part of the Geometry Dash X Camellia Event! There is so much I can say about this level, nothing but good things! This level's effects are mindblowing. As a creator, I have absolutely 0 idea how Darwin did some of the stuff he did in this level, especially the first drop background. From the visual effects, to the song sync (which I will get into later) is nothing but top notch!
If you didn't notice, this is actually my first ever demon beat on the steam version of GD! Which was really cool and felt really rewarding! I did play this on mobile, and there were surprisingly no issues! I tend to play with bluetooth earbuds (because my phone unfortunately does not have a audio jack) so my audio is slightly delayed, which isn't exactly helpful with this level. This level's sync for the most part is top notch, and while you cannot really see where your player is in the drop for a majority of it, your clicks are actually really well timed to the beat of the song, and it was actually super helpful to navigate! Felt perfect, especially for a Camellia Song.
Now about the song. Man, I don't know if it's just the level or what, but the song HEAVILY enhances this level. This level "Feels" Camellia. And I am trying SO HARD not to be biased cause I have loved Camellia since a bit before/during I got into GD, but it's super hard not to be when this song goes as hard as it does.
I give this a very VERY solid 10/10! If I did decimals, I'd give this one a 9.5. Simply due to the fact that this level could completely kill one's eyesight (hence this is the first ever time I've put in a epilepsy warning in one of these videos I'm pretty sure), but man, from the design, to the gameplay, to the song, I can't help but place this as my number one favorite Event Level. You did a great job on this Darwin! And Camellia, you KILLED IT once again with this song! Amazing duo!
