Unboxing of some cheap alternative Sony NP-F970 batteries that I got from Amazon. The Pixel set cost £60 for 2 batteries and a charger. Compared to the genuine Sony product, which costs £150 for one battery, it seems like a no brainer.

• Check Battery Price on Amazon US - amzn.to/3ftwosH
This video is just an unboxing. I'm not testing the batteries here. I just thought I'd show you exactly what you get with these cheap brand alternatives. There are so many of them out there on Amazon, it's hard to choose the right ones. I'll let you know in the comments how I get on with these.
I understand that there is more to battery performance than the basic rated capacity. For example, high internal resistance on cheap batteries often leaves them unable to deliver the required power when the current draw increases. I need them to power my Atomos recorder for as long as the provided 5,500mAh batteries. If they do that, I'm happy.
Let me know in the comments whether you are in the Sony camp or the third-party camp? If the latter, which brand do you use, and how do you find them?
