Hoppers is Pixar's latest movie releasing in March 2026. It is an animated science fiction adventure comedy film directed by Daniel Chong and written by Jesse Andrews, the film features an ensemble voice cast led by Piper Curda, Bobby Moynihan, Jon Hamm, Kathy Najimy, and Dave Franco. It follows an animal lover named Mabel (Curda) whose mind is transferred into a lifelike robotic beaver to communicate with animals and save their habitat from destruction.

The new Pixar movie Hoppers was originally supposed to be about Penguins instead of Beavers. Director Daniel Chong initially pitched a globetrotting spy-thriller about penguins disappearing. Pixar Chief Creative Officer Pete Docter said there were too many penguin movies, so they changed it to beavers.
