mrmattandmrchay | PIRs cost between £8 and £30 - why does this one cost £1400? @mrmattandmrchay | Uploaded August 2018 | Updated October 2024, 1 hour ago.
Normally cost between £8 and £30 - these would be domestic and commercial PIR (motion detectors for Intruder alarm systems).
How come this one costs £1400?! (and this is just the buying cost! Plus mark-up, plus installation costs!)
As usual, this is a comprehensive video going through how to connects, compared to a standard PIR or Dual-tech motion detector.
Sorry about the comedy eyes, but it needed a personality! XD
AND there is a competition at the end of the video!!

By the way, my pronunciation of the word "intrinsically safe" is apparently a little dodgy! It's a word that I don't say too often and I think I'm having trouble pronouncing it properly lol. Maybe I should have kept to "Atex rated" detector instead!
